The AXP bash plate is designed differently than the MX/SX line. This model provides a complete protection to the frame until the footpegs. It also wraps the water pump completely and protects the linkage thanks to its extra thickness (16mm in total under the connecting rod). Polyethylene plastic is 40% lighter than aluminum and does not undergo deformation, does not generate resonance nor vibrations and offers a better durability.
