Ducati Desert X skid plate - Weight : 3.6Kg - made from 8mm thick High Density PolyEthylen plastic, the AXP skid plate fully covers the engine block until the radiator. The design of an exclusive front fixation will avoid to smash your cases and will offer an easy way to fit and remove the plate. On the left side, it will protect the water pump without any direct link on the case thanks to a foam in between. No vibrations, no deformation, no metallic noise from rock impact are as many advantages that you don’t find on an alloy plate. HDPE allows to save 30 to 40% of the weight compared to a similar design and thickness in alloy. WARNING, this reference fits only with SW MOTECH crash bars (ref : SBL.22.995.10001/B). The bash plate is not compatible with centre stands and does not fit the RALLY version.
