Engine skid plates

Undoubtedly our most iconic products, AXP Racing engine skid plates are designed to protect the engine from impacts, rocks, and roots encountered in enduro, motocross, or trail riding.

We offer three distinct ranges, tailored to specific uses:

  • The 6mm HDPE skid plate is our versatile model, designed for motocross/supercross use but also for sand races. Made from 6mm-thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it offers an excellent balance between lightness and impact resistance. Ideal for protecting the engine and frame without weighing down the machine.
  • The 8mm HDPE Hard Enduro skid plate is designed for riders tackling particularly demanding terrain: rocks, rugged ground, and obstacles such as boulders or logs. Its reinforced 8mm HDPE thickness gives it increased resistance to the violent, repeated impacts typical of this extreme discipline. This skid plate is built to absorb the harshest impacts without deforming, ensuring maximum engine protection under the toughest conditions.
  • The 8mm HDPE Adventure skid plate is aimed at Adventure/trail bike riders. Also made from 8mm HDPE for enhanced sturdiness, it covers the entire engine as well as the most exposed components such as the exhaust system, frame, linkage, or water pump in some cases.

These three ranges allow every rider to find the level of protection suited to their riding style, without paying for unnecessary sturdiness or compromising on safety when the terrain demands it.

Radiator guards

The radiator is a particularly vulnerable component in a fall or impact: even slight deformation of the fins can compromise engine cooling and put an end to a race. That's why AXP Racing offers three ranges of radiator guards, each meeting a specific need:

  • Our classic radiator guards use a 3-point mounting system, designed to retain the original air deflector while forming a protective cage around the radiator. A product that has already proven itself in competition, notably at the Enduropale du Touquet, where it has saved the race for many riders.
  • Hard Enduro radiator guards are designed for the most demanding terrain. Made from 4mm-thick aluminum, they form a rigid cage around the radiator. A 6mm-thick HDPE grille completes this protection, with a quick mounting and removal system to make cleaning the radiator easier. A robust solution for riders tackling difficult terrain.
  • Fast-Cleaning radiator guards stand out for their innovation: removable fins that come off with a single clip, no tools required. The main structure is mounted directly on the frame for optimal strength, while the fins complete the protection while allowing for quick radiator cleaning. A solution unique on the market, ideal for riders who want to save time on maintenance between special stages.

These three ranges thus offer a level of protection and practicality suited to every use, from occasional leisure riding to the most intensive competition.

Chain guides and swingarm slides limit premature wear caused by chain friction and protect the swingarm from debris.

Disc guards are essential to prevent the disc from deforming or breaking in the event of a side impact.
