Frequently asked questions

OPTION N°1 : You made a mistake in your order and wish to return/exchange. This is possible if the product is still in new condition (i.e. not used) and with all the screws provided. The return costs are your responsibility as well as the costs of reshipping any other exchanged product.

OPTION N°2 : You received the wrong part and the error is ours. Contact us at contact@axpracing.com. We will send you back the right reference.

OPTION N°3 : Your product encounters a manufacturing defect. Write to contact@axpracing.com and we'll deal with the problem as soon as possible.

For European deliveries, we use Chronopost and DPD.

For international deliveries, we use DHL and UPS.

All orders are generally prepared and shipped within 24 to 48 hours.

OPTION N°1 : If you bought your skid plate less than one year ago and it broke because of a manufacturing defect, we can replace it after receiving the invoice and pictures of the problem.

OPTION N°2 : After the first year of use, we will examine every situation to give the fairest solution. In any case, the invoice and pictures of the skid plate must be sent to the following email address: sales@axpracing.com

AXP Racing ships to 50 countries, so do not hesitate to send your postal address by email to sales@axpracing.com so we can check if the shipment is possible or not. 

If not, you can find all the dealers on this page. This way, you can avoid paying for expensive shipments from the warehouse.

AXP Racing supplies protections for motocross, enduro and trail bikes, but also for UTV/ATV and SSV.

AXP Racing develops protections for (almost) all new motocross and enduro bikes (6 and 8mm skid plates, chain guides, radiator protectors). 

For trail bikes, development depends mainly on the popularity of the bike and customer demand.

We usually borrow bikes from local dealers with whom we work regularly.

But it also happens that customers lend us their bikes directly for a few days, so that we have time to develop protections for the bike.

We do not make specific parts for private customers. Developments are based on standard models and series production.

All the AXP Racing protections are delivered with a printed assembling notice and a tutorial video is available online on our YouTube channel.

AXP Racing skid plates are made from 6 or 8mm-thick HDPE (high-density polyethylene) plastic.

This plastic is very light and resistant, it comes back to its original shape after impacts, it does not generate any vibrations and considerably reduces impact noise. It is also 30 to 40% lighter than its aluminum counterpart!

AXP Racing chain guides are made of UHMW plastic (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) offering high resistance to friction; the perfect material for a chain guide that is always exposed to shocks. 

AXP Racing radiator guards are made of 4mm-thick aluminum, reinforced with spacers to completely enclose the radiators and protect them in case of lateral fall.

Xtrem radiator guards also feature an HDPE plastic plate on the front for extra protection in case of frontal impact.

The 6mm-thick HDPE plastic skid plates are specially designed for MX, SX and soft enduro use, with very little crossing. They protect the engine, subframe and crankcase.

The 8mm-thick bash plates are designed for extreme enduro use with high clearance. They cover the engine, frame, the frame, the cases and water pump. The extension at the rear of the plate protects the linkage and frame until the footrests, for optimum protection.
