Made of 6mm thick polyethylene plastic, it covers the subframe, protects the engine and crankcases from projections. Contrary to aluminum, HDPE absorbs impacts, does not undergo deformations, does not generate vibrations and is 40% lighter. An engine skid plate is a consumable, so products are only guaranteed in case of premature breakage. This model fits Yamaha WR250F - YZ250FX and Fantic XEF250 only.
